I know this will probably stir up some trouble http://videos.streetfire.net/mostdiscussed/4/d6c0adb5-978e-494a-96f4-98aa00103047.htm
2002 Camaro V6 to LS1 Swap Full bolt-ons XP Custom "Seaberg" Cam Moser 12 bolt w/ 4.30's and I'll assume he's lightened it up a bit Runs 11.57 @ 119.7mph Hometown - OK City area
Hell yeah it does. Yeah, what he said. The cam is the only significant engine mod, I think that's what he means by cam only.
I just thought it was slighty mis-leading in a funny way is all.... The term "Full Bolt-Ons" can mean different things based on the specific platform the term is being used to describe. U.M.
Considering you can bolt on a supercharger and saying "its only got bolt ons" does not sound to bad until you run it. H/C/I Supercharged 5.0 is all "bolt ons" Either the guy in the Cobra cant drive or that camaro is just that fast.
Where the hell were the exhaust pipes if it was cam only? I eat Camaros like donuts, that ain't "no cam" only Camaro. That terminator is running damn near 400rwhp and the Camaro pulls that hard. Don't think so, sounded super high compression to me.
They are high compression from the factory. For the 11teenth time, what he means by "cam only", is that the cam is the only serious engine mod. In other words, stock bottom end, stock heads, intake etc. It obviously has bolt ons. I have seen plenty of ls1's with a cam and bolt ons make 400+ rwhp.
Hell, a CAI is a significant mod on a stock Terminator! 20+RWHP easy. The term "Bolt-On's" is a misnomer at best these days. If all that Cobra had for mods was a 3.10 upper (thus giving him 12 lbs) and no other "Bolt-Ons" then I can see that race coming out the way it did. U.M.
Nice sounding camaro.....I think I wet myself with that lope. Its always funny watching everyone try to figure out reasons why a Cobra could lose.
