Lt headers and tune question

i currently have an 05 with the jlt cai, magnaflow x-pipe, and slp exhaust, tuned with xcal2 by dtp performance. My question is i am currently installing a set of jba lt headers with matching jba catless h-pipe and was wondering if i need a custom tune to make the headers work? I called dtp and they said i do, but i am also going to install the bbk throttle body when it comes out next month and i know i definitely need a tune for that but dont want to spend 50 bucks now and then 50 bucks next month when i get the throttle body on. Just wondering cause ive seen mustang mags where they put on lt headers and then dyno them without a tune according to their caption. Just wondering if i can make it until next month without hurting the motor and wasting 50 bucks?
