    Well folks,

Martin Stenback, CEO of Lysholm Technologies finally got my email and resonded back this morning. He didn't have much to say, but suffice to say that within the next month we will have a definitive answer on whether Whipple will continue to be a North American Distributor of Lyshom Technologies TS Superchargers:

    Dear Jennifer,

Thank you for your E-mail of August 31, it seems that it has been stuck in our E-mail system’s anti virus protection file for quite some time. I apologize for not replying sooner but it just reached me.

We are unable to comment on the subject, because of ongoing proceedings with Whipple Industries at this time. However I will make it a priority to see to it that I get back to you
with relevant information as soon as I can. We do not want to disappoint our US customers and hope to have a resolution to the problem within the next 3-4 weeks.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me for updates or additional information.

    Yours sincerely

    Martin Stenbäck
    CEO
    Lysholm Technologies AB
    Sweden

    Mr. Stenback,

I understand your position and thank you for responding. I sincerely hope that you are able to come to an amicable business solution with Whipple. There are many of us whom consider Lysholm Technologies Twin Screw Engineered Supercharger the only acceptable supercharger for our platform and would prefer to seek natural aspiration solutions if unable to procur one of your engineered products.

Thank you, again, for your response.

very well done..But by him sayin' nothin' it tells me somethin'...I initially mentioned a problem between the two (since I have some contacts on the inside) and i have since gathered more info on the subject as well..But,I will just watch this all play out since I don't like to be the bearer of too much bad news at once...Great email you wrote though!

meh. No biggie; all in a days work to kill rumor and I prefer to go straight to the source. :nice: But Subzero is right, by saying nothing, it says nearly everything. :nonono:

I write letters like this all the time for my employer. It is second nature. It is what I love to do.

Now that I have an open line with the CEO maybe we can hurry up and create a business and become the new North America distirbutor of the Lysholm TS S/Cs. LOL

I'll keep you guys posted on any official word from Mr. Stenback.

    Jenn,
Since you seem to have a connection going with them why don't you float the idea of a group buy by your new buddy at Lysholm. They might be interested in selling some goods while looking for a new NA distributor.

EDIT ADD: Just sent this to Mr. Stenback

Subject: Probable Secondary Market Route for Lysholm S/C in United States

    Mr. Stenback,

As you indicated in your email of September 16th, you are in the middle of your supplier proceedings with Whipple Industries.

I am not a sales person, I am a simple consumer who feels your product is the best on the market and would be disappointed to see the Lysholm Twin Screw diminish in platform sales for the Ford Mustang.

As a senior member and active moderator of a large Mustang forum in the United States, I have the ability to set-up group purchases with other site members (we have approximately 90,000 members). Many are interested in your twin screw superchargers and have been waiting to see what the status of the proceedings with Whipple is. If in the event your business arrangement cannot be continued with Whipple, I respectfully request your consideration of allowing me to facilitate a group purchase of your products for direct shipment to the end consumer if this is possible.

Thank you again for your time and consideration of this alternative marketing and sales route.

that sounded great Jen...The only problem is that Lynsholm supplies only the BLOWER to whipple and they do the remainder of the kit.Programming, brackets, injection, fuel, location for the accessory changes etc..things like that. So, if they would agree to do such a thing, then another company would need to be involved in finalizing the kits themselves.Basically starting over.Hmmm?, I guess I could always go talk with the owner of Banks (Gale) and see if he may be interested :D

We are working on some stuff for the 05-06 now, but I am not a liberty to reveal that stuff as of now.

Let's see what he comes back with Sub. If he is open to entertaining the idea, then we can go to step 2 in procurring a finish company on the kit.

It's worth a shot. I really don't want to see this type of engineering become tight in market lines. If Kenne Bell and Saleen are the only game in town, prices will start to increase and at around $5,000 for a kit right now, I really don't want to see the prices increase much more than they already are. That darn economic law of Supply and Demand. :nonono:
