The guy I bought my car from had JVC 12 disc changer in the trunk, all well and fine, but recently it's gone to crap and eats a CD every other day. I'm really tired of messing with it and having to go to my trunk to change CDs. I can get the STOCK CD player from a car that had the Mach 460, and mount that in what would be the stock location (where the storage bin is now).

My problem is that since my car has a kenwood headunit/tape deck, can I pull this off? Will the CD player be compatable with the headunit?

    Need help here guys, thanks.

I don't think so it looks like the stock head unit powers the stock cd player. I have a pioneer cd head unit and I don't see how the I would be abe to turn on the stock cd player with out the stock head unit.

That's kinda what I thought except I was figuring maybe someone out there made some type of harness for it.
