Paint & new top for '67 Convertible (prices & steps)

We have a Nightmist Blue 1967 Mustang Convertible that is ready for new paint and a new white top. I had asked about this previously and I was advised to do the paint first as the paint will likley overspray and get on the top almost regardless of how careful the painter is. I was also advised to make sure the paint has plenty of time to cure before doing the top as the hoses for the top work may dammage the paint....

Is that the correct process to get the work done?

Next, what are reasonable prices for a good paint job... Not cheap, not showcar... just a nice paint job that would do the car justice? How about the same question in relation to the top?

Does anybody have any recomendations for people in SE Pennsylvania (Philli Area) to do the work?

Thanks for any and all feedback!
