Do you guys ever wish you had a nice quiet exhaust on a fast car. My car passes emmisions and has high flow cats and full Mac exhaust. On nice days I want to drive it but by the time I get to work 44miles away sometimes I wish I had taken "the quiet car".

Everytime I start my car @ 6:30 in the morning to go to work, I wish I had quite exhaust.... Once I am on the road, then I wish I didn't have rusted exhaust (leaky).

I love the "loud 5.0 sound" My neibours probly hate it but who gives a F**K I like it and it's all legal. I look forward so starting the car up just to hear that sweet sweet sound. The sound is what made me start my love for theese cars and sell my 95 V6 and go buy a real one lol.

You think it is bad with cats try getting rid of them. My neighbors from the next street over came and complained to my parents about my car idling in the yard.

You guys should consider a quieter muffler. I have the magnaflow and its pretty quiet until you get on the throttle hard. Theres several quieter mufflers out there!

There was some asshat in a 94 or 95 V6 Mustang near the gas station the other day with some kinda dual system rigged up on it. He kept dumping the clutch and getting one wheel to spin, it was loud as hell but all it was, was noise, kinda sounded like double fart cans, yuck!!!

Don't get me wrong, I love the way my car sounds and have even considered taking the cats off as I don't need to pass emmisions where I live (but I don't think I'd see much for gains) , but It sucks driving 65-80mph for 44 miles in the morning with the exhaust humming like a tank. Rattles the brain!!

Yeah, ya know I love the loud sound in the city but when it's a contanct low hum for 45 minutes it sucks. My dd is a BMW (soon to be V6 Camaro) and it is a very plesant sounding car to cruise in. You car hear the exhaust, but It's not over powering.

WHy did I start this post you ask............Because if you read the post where I raced my brothers EVO the other day down the highway........after we slowed down he called me on my cell phone and I couldn't hear a word he was saying, I guess I never really talk on my phone when I'm in the stang. (but thats because I can't hear it ring)

i love my car loud because it is relatively quick and the sound matches how it runs.(o/r h, 2 chamber flows and 290rwhp) but when i diytt or kb it, im going back to dynomax superturbos....then silence is golden

haha, I feel the same way. I love driving my WRX as a d/d since it's so nice & quiet inside...then everytime I drive the Mustang I'm reving it & stomping on the gas just to hear it opened up...oh, that sweet sweet sound

Yep…I had that problem back when I put on my o/r h-pipe and 2 chamber flows. I loved the sound…but it was damn loud. To fix it I threw on a twin turbo setup and the exhaust was back to stock decibel levels again.

Yeah loud is good until a client calls you and you have to yell into your phone so he can hear you and you can't hear him at all.
