As some of you may have noted in prior posts, I'm over 50 and incidentally put hair dye up in my hair to minimize gray. Well, some of it transferred onto my headrest! After cleaning it off, I bought headrest covers from the folks mentioned in my signature, door handle covers to boot. I'd recommend the product to anyone. You can also get contrasting colors and stitching too.

Incidentally, I detailed the interior..... Lexol cleaning (wound up with a bucket of black water even though interior appeared relatively clean), rinsed, Lexol treatment, let soak in, wiped off residue with damp cloth, and finally buffed with a hand towel. (just like doing a shoe!)

Anyway here's a pic of the headrest and doorhandle covers after the detailing. :D

That must be worth a couple extra pounds of downforce on a convert!

BlueCar: Love the leather, I need to do that to my car now!

Thanks. Set aside about 3 hours. You will be very surprised with your first bucket of rinsewater. Doing a convertible is not too difficult. If you have a coupe, get an elf or a small child to do the rear seats. :D
