I'm looking to megasquirt my 5.0 and want to go DIS for a spark rev limiter and an anti lag system for the turbo (that's why I don't want EDIS).
I know the Explorer's came with DIS and they have a cam position sensor in the distributor hole but is there also a crank shaft position sensor? I didn't know if the cam position sensor had the sync pulse in it or not.
I haven't found any write up's on this yet so if someone could direct me to one (or am I cutting edge )?
