This guy at my job has a Ninja 500 that his bank was supposed to repo nearly a year and a half ago. He's called them numerous times and they won't pick it up. As a matter of fact, they wrote it off. I believe this because I went through this last year with my Mazda 6. I had to beg the bank to get it because they too wrote it off and they didn't want it. (And thats a $12k car) Anyway, I live in Texas and I know there is a way to title this bike somehow but I can't seem to get any info online.
Has anyone else had a similar situation? I've even heard of autoshops being able to get ownership of cars left on their property too long. This is a similar situation, right?
Any advice or help would be great because I would love to take this bike off his hands but I need to make sure I can get it legally.
