The car looks great, nice work. My auto class in high school wasn't ever this cool. So you left the doors and fenders on when you painted the car? How did you paint the inside of the door?

Hey, I don't have any photo updates because nothing has been changed aesthetically. I got the clutch done, and the headers on, but I didn't have time to do the 3.55s. I might just have eb3 motorsports do them, because I really don't know much about rear gears anyway. But I got the car out of the shop yesterday. Just in time too, as school ends on Tuesday. I'm going to do the full 500 mile break in for the clutch, but so far it's pretty hard. I guess I'm not as good at manual as I thought I was. I'm trying to leave from a stop smoothly without riding the clutch or letting the car buck. On the bright side, I'll get to know the clutch really well through all of this babying. 17 miles down, 483 to go. :D

Hey, I thought I'd just let everyone know what's been going on with the car lately. I've just been buttoning everything up and getting the car to where I want it as a daily. Since the last update I've:

•Broken in the clutch (I was only able to stay off the gas for 450miles.. :D)
•Changed to lx tail lights
•Converted all of the lights to LED except the dash and glove box (It looks very stock, just brighter)
•Bought new valve covers with a breather to solve my dip stick popping out problem..

This one has me stumped though, I'll need an intake spacer but I don't know if the hood will still clear.
•Went to an offroad h-pipe
•And finally got my windows re tinted, I'm really liking the.. look 5% back hatch, 5% quarters, 20% driver/passenger.

Some pictures(sorry for the horrible quality, camera phone):

I really need to get new front tires, these monster truck tires are throwing off the look. So that's next, then on to the interior :nice:

Spec Stage 3 clutch? Hope you don't get caught in traffic, I had that clutch in my 94. The heaviest clutch ever. Plus it chattered the entire 500 mile break in. I wish I had never put that clutch in.

Car looks good man. Forget 3:55's, 3:73's are the minimum.

Yes sir, Spec Stage 3. I had to use the Steeda quadrant and cable to set the pedal right. It chattered for the first few days while I got used to it, and now I love it! The only reason I'm thinking 3.55s is because my buddy gave me a set with the posi for free, otherwise I'd be all over 3.73s. Thanks guys I'm very proud of this car, it's been an amazing learning experience and I've made a lot of great friends along the way :nice:

And as for your stock intake, I had those same valve covers, with a cobra intake. I used a 1/2" spacer, and since my engine was rotated a little, I rubbed on the lower front of the manifold on the hood. Otherwise, I had no clearance issues. If you are using the stock intake, your even more set. But I will mock it up, and use some playdoh to check for clearance.
