Modern Warfare 2: Race to 10th prestige

    Thought it would be fun to have a little contest across all systems (PS3,360,PC) for who can reach level 10 the quickest. This game seems to generating a lot of interest in here so it seems like it would be fun. We are doing this also in the Clan that Im in. Every time you level up PM a mod that is in this section or one that's playing the game and they can add your name to which level you are on. Im sure we can go on the honor system but if you want to post pic proof that's fine too. Also remember that you have to reach level 75 not 55 to level up now but there are more points to get as well so they are saying it will take about the same amount of time as it took to level up on 55. Hope this turns out to be fun for everyone :nice:

    Im got to the second prestige on PS3 and 360. lol

    I didnt even really go prestige because you didnt get **** for it. But you get something on this one, so Ill probably be doing it.

    I must have missed it, but what do you get in this game?

    I'm not even going to try the race, because I don't have a lot of time to play and I suck. But at least I have fun.

    all that matters is that you have fun b/c that's all what this is for anyway :nice:

    Its been in interviews as far as things you get from leveling up but Ive watched so many of them I cant remember where it was

    I quit playing cod waw 2 months after release ( January) (xbox broke) and was already in 6th prestige

    then I played for two days when I got another xbox. and they made HCSD gay by bowing to pressure from tards and nerfing the noob tube.. Funny I played a ton of rounds of HCSD and never had a problem with getting spawn toobed..

    HCSD is where it's at for leveling up.. Hell I might have to play some WAW for the first time in many months just to warm up

    Mike are you talking about getting noob tube blasted from the start of the match b/c they know where you spawn from? That's happened to me I frigging hate that.

    This applies to HCSD

    on each map there is a way you can go or simply wait a second and you wont get hit...

    some maps you drop back a bit, on others if you ran to one of the sides you would not get hit..

    the people who got hit a lot were the rushers that ran straight forward

    COD4 I hardly ever got hit at all.. there was only one map where I would get hit once in awhile. on WAW I got hit a little more often but still not much... WAW had other issues too like spawn sniping

    the guys me and bluffing played with were good spawn toobers.. sometimes we could wipe the whole team out at the spawn.

    yeah I was referring to HCSD as well.


    Im anti noob tube usage at the start of the match. I hate it actually and would not support it if anyone on my team was doing it(actually in the clan they dont rely on cheesy tactics anyway) The whole point to HCSD is stealth and patience. I cant stand that or the grenade dropping perk

    You're missing the point. Toobing the spawn isn't about kills as much as it's about preventing them from rushing and choosing another route, which in turn allows us to get to areas and setup before them. If they refuse to change routes and we wipe out their team, then they're stupid and deserve it.

    exactly it had a big effect on strategy.. We still did fine after the rule change but in my opinion it was not necessary.. The people who blindly run from the spawn with a SMG benefited the most..


    I never learned the spots to tube in 4 because I did not start playing hcsd until the end. but in waw I got pretty decent with the tube and if they don't do the gay delay on the tube I will do it again in mw2

    If you don't want to get toobed then instead of crying about it learn how to avoid getting toobed.. trust me it's not that hard to avoid it..



    I don't even have a problem with the grenade dropping thing since nobody uses that in search.

    I see your point but how does tubing anyone from the spawn point make them take a different route when no one has gone anywhere yet when the game has literally just started. I can see if you dont want them taking a route so you tube that spot and make them go elsewhere but from the spawn point no one has gone anywhere yet. The game starts and you get a tube shell in your face.
