Motor fitment problems...

Ok, so I'm putting my motor back in my mustang, and it sitting up wayyyy to high. I dont understand. Its sitting right on the motor mounts where is suppousto be, tranny is bolted up to it, and it wont even clear the hood. b4 i pulled the motor there was plenty of room. I didn't even unbolt the motor mounts when i pulled it, i just unbolted it from the block. Any ideas greatly appriciated thanks...
