correct me if im wrong, but motor mounts are supposed to keep an engine in place..... i havent even messed with the motor mounts... anyways, i was out in the garage trying to get the bracket that holds the wiring on for the starter... i got a good grip on it... and pulled upward (to unloosen the nut, it is WAY overtorqued) and i end up picking up the damn shortblock and the tranny with it.... :rlaugh: thats just weird, do i need new engine mounts? :nonono:

well with the stock mounts when you rev the engine you can see it twist but wiht the solids it stays still. Thus that wasted torque is sent thru the power train rather than thru the craddle. it ties in wiht the 10-15% power loss due to friction etc.......
