  1. Knock-off.....

Thats a knockoff of Brett Mchugh's rebuild kit..he even copied the intructions lol. I have purchased Brett's kit and very happy with it. I would not bother looking for nos mounts as the urethane kit is an improvement over the rubber design. You can find Brett on the .net site

  2. Cool, thanks for the info.

  3. so yall are saying that if i have motor and frame mounts that are bad i can rebuild them?

  4. Yes

  5. I have Bretts kit and they are great.

  6. Yes, we've used Brett's rebuild kits on several of the II's to come through the shop (including both the Handler and Angie's Yellow King), and they are a BIG improvement over the originals (and yes, a pair of II mounts even held together by nothing but the rivets, plus one of Brett's kits and a bit of time, will get you a good set of V8 mounts ready to bolt up)

  8. Cool idea I used to tear apart a set of mounts ever 6 months with a wild shift kit my quick easy solution was new mounts and wrap a chain thru the hollow and back to the mounting bolt, motor still sits on rubber to cush vibration but wide open it hangs onto chain, never broke another mount after that mod

  9. Are these mounts fit the stock frame mounts...or do i need V8 frame monuts???...where can i get a set of used mounts??
