I'll be moving to the pheonix area in November and will be looking for the an apartment in a good area close to the city. If any locals have any good advice I would appreciate it. I'll also be looking for an engineering job if anyone knows of any resources.

    Thanks

Intel...Microsoft...however they aren't in Phoenix. They are like in Scottsdale, Chandler and Mesa. Why do you want to live in PHX, live in the outskirts and work in that area!

Thanks for the replies guys. Sorry it took so long to get back on here. I have a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering but i am looking for any type of engineering job or any type of entry level "get my foot in the door" type job in the industry.

I dont want to move into the city of phoenix but I was hoping someone could recommend which areas are better than others, which would be suited to a young couple in their twenties and one bedroom apartments in the 600-750 range. Anyones input is really appreciated. If you dont want to reply here email me at cobram625@aol.com

    Thanks

I live in Gilbert. Scottsdale is a really nice place and it is generally known as being pretty expensive, but my sister and her bf just moved in together and they are both mid 20's and got a nice apartment and I think they pay $800 a month. Its a 2 bedroom apartment. I'm pretty sure you could find a nice apartment for around $500-600 a month out in Scottsdale. Chandler is also a very nice place to live. I live right on the border of Chandler and Gilbert so I would check into those 3 cities. Tempe and Mesa I consider more ghetto areas but pretty much no matter what city you will be able to find some nice apartments. Let me know if there is any other way I can help.
