Muffler/exhaust

so im driving down the road hit a bump and i hear a draggin like crazy so i pulled over and the exhaust is hanging on the ground. It looks like a black rubber holder of some sort broke in half where it holds the exhaust up. What is that and how do I fix it?

You need a new rubber exhaust hanger.

Parts stores sell them, I forget the distance between the two holes though offhand. Take the old one to compare.
