    Hey Guys,

I recently uploaded a couple videos of my 1969 Fastback on You Tube. The link to the site is:

    http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=markbell1969stang

I have 3 uploaded of the Mustang. One is a couple burn outs on an old country road, 2nd is video inside and out top and bottom and third is slideshow of the build.

Hopefully some of you will enjoy it - I know I had fun. This was my first build and I have a blast driving it. Work has currently taken me out of the country and the car is in storage. Hard to find a motor head to talk cars with in Mexico.

    Enjoy
    Mark
    :nice:

That's SCHWEET and I love the growl of the engine. Did you put up the link to Blown65's car too? Is that his car? The Mystic paint job with the blower popping out of the hood on the 65?

No I didn't add the link. You Tube adds links to similar topic videos each time you open one.

Yes the car has a nice sound - I installed spin tech exhaust - Great sound and equally great performance.

    Thanks for the response:D

Man, that is a top notch build! i saw the TCP control arms, did you install a TCP rack as well? How do you like the 408? I'm thinking of doing the same thing. What heads/cam/intake/carb did you go with?

Cam specs are in my signature. Heads are Brodix track 1 and carb is holley 770 street avenger. I had it dyno tuned and jets changed to get best air fuel ratio.

    Thanks for the interest.

Yes I agree the fans are loud. I had some heat issues with the 408 and Air conditioning and I have to much invested to take any chances. I purchased the largest radiator I could find - Be cool supplied this one with twin 13" fans. They pull lots of air and keep everything cool in traffic during the summer with AC cranked. It did require I remove the windshield washer bottle and move the battery to the truck. That darn radiator fills the entire front of the engine bay.

Sorry all old parts are gone. I have a friend with a couple 69's and he takes all my leftovers. I gave him all the original AC components (including blower box), all original sway bars, suspension components and original C4. I try to keep my garage as clean as possible and I realize when the old parts are taken off and replaced with newer modern parts they stand no chance of being put back on.:D

I have not installed the TCP Rack but it is planned. You know how it goes, change it when you can afford to - 1 step at a time.

I love the 408! Man that thing pulls hard. The torque seams endless. I also installed a gear vendor overdrive unit. It converts the C4 automatic into a semi auto 6 speed. I added a ATI 2800 stall converter, B&M low profile ratchet shifter and 3:55 gears. Now it launches hard yet is still drivable on the highway. In overdrive it cruise 70 mph at about 3000 RPM.

Before I installed the overdrive I hated highway driving. I don't mind running the RPM's up for short periods but it's hard on a motor when driving at 4000 rpm down the highway for a long time. Before the overdrive the motor would wind out to 6500 rpm at about 135 mph, now the motor will still wind out but I don't have the nerve to see how far. At 135 the car really gets light and starts floating around. That fast driving it better left to you young guys.
