Well I've been browsing this forum for a while now and I'm so jealous of everyone and their bad ass foxes, so I figure I can get my own thread going here.

This is my 88 gt, its got an AOD and the factory 3.27 gears, Mac cold air intake and explorer upper and lower with BBK 70mm TB and egr spacer, MSD coil, cap and rotor with FRPP 9mm wires (2nd set dont ask why), with BBK shorty headers and H-pipe with spintech mufflers all the way out. The interior is porno read but in time that will be changed. Other than that I've had the car for like 3 months was completly stock when I picked it up and I love driving it, it is my daily driver. Best modification I could have possibly done has to be getting rid of the Cali plates. When I come back from my deployment I will get a daily driver 4 cylinder pickup and make this thing a 5 speed 347 street monster:D.

Here is some pictures of what I started with and where its at now:

BTW I took the 3rd brake light out to clean it up and make it shiny again and the Ford emblem in the front will come out as soon as my pony arrives.

Here is what I noticed in the bottom of the drain pain of the transmission fluid. About 2 weeks ago I changed the filter and cycled out about 8 quarts of tranny fluid, yesterday I pulled the pan to change out the gasket because of a crappy leaky rubber one and this is what came out, my magnet wasnt too covered but I'm assuming most of this is aluminum. Is this normal? I noticed when I pulled the filter there was very dark thick metal filled fluid that poured out of the hole in the tranny. I'm not too badly concerned I only have like another month before I leave for my deployment and when I get back its getting a 5-speed.

Looks nice. All cars started out stock.... and from humble beginings. :) Anyways.... looks like you may be doing the 5 speed conversion sooner than eventually.

About the porno red.... so many people don't like it, but I always liked it with my old car, it's different. All cars are either black, grey, tan, or sometimes blue, but red is rare.

I wouldnt mind the red but the previous owner painted most of the stuff black already and alot of the interior is missing so I figure if I'm going to replace alot of it anyways I might as well do black and get a nice set of leather seats. I want this car to have a new car feel on the inside, since its not going to be my daily driver when I get back I feel like I can splurge and make the interior really nice.

But yeah your right I've seen pictures of really nice red interiors, they look amazing when everything is in new condition, but my tired interior just isnt cutting it.
