Well, we've lived in the same home for about 24 years now. So we made the leap into a newer, bigger home : it's 2,418 square feet and we're going to pay about $200k on a 55' x 125' lot that backs up to a nice green belt and great views of all the surrounding mountains. BTW it has an extended 3 car garage, 4 bedrooms, and a large den to run my REI business from. It'll be a nice investment, we're expecting to have about $25-30k+ in equity by the time they start construction in a couple months. By the time we close it'll be more like $50k (although, with current and forcasted market and economics for the area it'll be more in the range of $75k, and about $120k within 1-2 years). Although appreciation is great, we're not counting on it. We are also keeping our existing house and already setting up a nice rent to own situation with a great young family. We're also looking for a couple houses for other RTO situations.
Man put a couple of gargoyles on the corners of the roof and you've got yourself a very spooky looking place lol. Just looks eerie, this grey structure against the calm sky. Looks good though, I like it!
is the 125 width or depth? I built a 12 X 20 shed with 6 foot walls for cheap money that fits a mustang with plenty of room to spare , in reality if it was just for storeage, you could get away with 18 X 8. Beats the Hell out of Losing a Stang , I'd be more than happy to draw it up for you with a material list. Just let me know.
Worth, It's 55' in width (the house is 40' wide) and 125' deep. the house is 45' deep and set back 22' from the back of curb. Plus we can't build a shed that can be seen over a 6' height fence w/o and architectural commitee approval. Thanks for the offer about the drawings, I've been doing architectural drawing for about 8 years now Oz, my family as in my parents, lil sis, & 5 dogs. I'm only 22 (23 next month), and we're all staying together to be able to spend the $$ and credit to have a couple other rental houses
