    If he didn't get any weight savings from it. Then it probably is not full CF. Almost all companies that make CF hoods use fiberglass on the bottom. Because the hood is mainly for looks. And CF is an expensive material. You have to look at the bottom. If it's flat black with no weave pattern detectable. It's fiberglass. A better use for CF would be fenders and other metal parts.
