Was that around in the late 60's? Or was it called Competition Orange?
Nope, Grabber orange. 1970 only specifically for Boss 302. Ford subsequently fielded several "grabber" colors to include blue, and green.

I'm actually planning on changing the color to Bright Red (code EP).
Thank you. Mine will look like the notch (2nd pic from left) only it's mirrors will be black, molding black, rims as described and hood design to echo the 69 Boss here: Sold Inventory | RK Motors Charlotte | Collector and Classic Cars69 boss 302 grabber blue - Google Search
I think it looks pretty bad ass. I like the smoked/black headlights look on it.
No worries 5liter. I wasn't thinking you were rude at all. There is a risk here. I like the color, I like the car, I just don't like it as a solid color on the fox. I'm thinking that the accents I described will make the difference.I'm sorry if I came of as an ass. I'm just not a big fan of the light grabber blue color on foxes. But that's just me. The way you describe the build plan I do think it will look better than I initially thought. I just like a darker shade personally. And sometimes I find that my first impression is wrong with these things once I see them completed. And hell who am I? If you like it that's all that matters. I'm sure there will be more positive feedback than negative anyway. Can't please everyone lol. Good luck and make sure to keep posting pics. I'm actually really curious to see the end results.
Really? Any pics?Theres a 4 eye GT with that color scheme around here, looks really sharp!
That looks good. Mine will be similar. I think he needs the badges and tail pipes. It's a really strong color.thats theone I was talking about
There is a lot of work done to this car: an 82-83 body, 4.6 engine, SN95 interior, and a late 60s paint job! I like all he's done.Last one since they arent my pics
pics?Ya thats a serious ride, but gives an idea of your paint scheme, Personally I like your plan, mines pretty stock looking at first glance too.
