Did you guys know that when Sarah Palin was announced as Mccain's Vice President...NBC put THIS video statement on the bottom of the screen. "How many houses will Sarah Palin earn Mccain?" If that's not blatant bias, I don't know what it? I mean...how ignorant can you be? No wonder nobody watches NBC. I think the "food" channel gets higher ratings then they do. What a joke.
one thing many of the other liberal media types are talking about is palin and her down syndrome child. they are asking the question that since normal children require a lot of attention in the early years, and that down syndrome children need even more attention, how is she going to handle the campaign? i also wonder when the liberals are going question whether she should have gotten pregnant at 44, or since she knew the child would be born with down syndrome, why didnt she abort the fetus?
NBC/MSNBC is beyond biased. They love Obama, there is no doubt about that. Has anyone seen NBC's ratings. Fox has more people watching in 2hrs than NBC does in a whole day. CNN isn't far in front of NBC.
Some might suggest a hands off approach to this rumor, saying it's a private family matter, and others would say the Republicans, armed with Karl Roves dirt digging tactics against political opponents, would bring this up and make it a huge issue, against Democrats, whether it was true or not Heres more: Daily Kos: State of the Nation Daily Kos: State of the Nation
That has to be the most callous statement ever. Downs syndrome isn't a valid reason to abort a child. Most of them lead very vibrant and independent lives. Sure early on they require extra care but not to the point where you would want to kill them.
did you even read what i wrote? i have had friends with down syndrome, and i agree with you. i was pointing out that the liberals in the media are already questioning her taking the vp nomination while having a down syndrome child.
Have you embraced it? Lee Stranahan: DailyKos Embraces The Palin 'Fake Pregnancy' Rumor But Rejects The Edwards Story
It's a private family matter, having nothing to do with her being able to do her job IMO. I just wonder what would happen if it were the other way around.
Anything and everything on Daily Kos is false and should be disregaurded. Same with Moveon. Anything associated with George Soros should be ignored. Do you believe the things that you read in The Globe and National Enquire too?
Nope, can't believe everything. This story is just a rumor as far as I can tell, and should not be hashed around, for political gain, it would be a low blow, but, what do you think Rove and co. would do with this? I would bet it would be all over Fox had it been the other way around. And I just heard on CNBC, just announced that her daughter Bristol is pregnant right now.....developing story, but clearly dispelling the previous rumor if this one is true.
"ST. PAUL - The 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is pregnant, Palin said Monday in an announcement intended to knock down rumors by liberal bloggers that Palin faked her own pregnancy to cover up for her child. Bristol Palin, one of Alaska Gov. Palin's five children with her husband, Todd, is about five months pregnant and is going to keep the child and marry the father, the Palins said in a statement released by the campaign of Republican presidential candidate John McCain. Bristol Palin made the decision on her own to keep the baby, McCain aides said." , Wow, that's one way to shut that rumor up. She's getting married too, doing the responsible thing, I say good for for her, young as she is.
FOX= Fair and Balanced, people say its to the right b/c they give $hit to the left but in fact they are just reporting what they should while the other networks would do nothing to say anything bad about the democrats.
Well, at least they weren't caught actually taking money to report a story a certian way like CNN. At least they weren't caught reporting a false story like NBC. I guess when the money and ratings are tight, you have to do something to make more ratings so you can make more money.
