At risk of stepping on toes I don't have a problem with ads but when they dominate the site I am on then it gets easier to justify blocking.

    Hah!
I seriously found this interesting, because honestly, I find ads pesky also. When they are overbearing and a nuisance, it drives people to lengths.

The most rational of people do realize ads pay the bills. It's a crazy-tough balance between appeasing the revenue model as well as the masses. :)

I've designed websites with ad placement before, so I know how crucial it is for revenue. i dont use ad blockers, but i definitely ignore the ads and block them out mentally lol

i just hate when ad placement either stretches the margins of a page, or gets placed inside text fields
