thanks for the tip michael. that will come in handy very soon.

got my spark plugs and wires in, started her up, and she purrz like a kitten and growls like a lion again. spark plugs didn't look too bad so it was definatly that darn wire. i didn't get a chance to check out the ect yet, but that's on my agenda. probably not tonight though. right now i have my garage all wired up, but i don't have my underground cable run yet so i have to plug it in with a couple of orange extension cords. snow's coming down pretty hard and i don't like to leave the cord out in this weather. do you think it hurts anything? if i would seal up the connection of the plugs?

i know a bit about DC stuff, and dont mind playing since its fairly innocuous. but when it comes to playing with stuff on the house, i dont play games. i would not worry too much if you have a GFI on the outlet/circuit. if not, i would not leave the cord plugged in while the weather is poor. i dont want to read about you from a news link in the outhouse. J/K. just my anal thinking. good luck and glad stangie is up and purring. :)

Mark, go to Walmart and in the heater section get the additive that helps with the fumes with Kerosine, I have a 110,000 BTU model and use it and it doesn't stink at all! Well worth the $3....

As for the ring gear Micheal is right sit it front of the heater and get it hot and it will slide right on the cold rear.
