Update, I purchased a used 2001 crown vic engine with 102, 000 miles for $350! I stripped it down to the block and heads ( kept camshaft covers on it) put everything from the original engine on it and dropped it in. Eveything worked out and is running great. Thanks t o the few on this thread who have helped!
