Need Help With X Pipe Problem

    On my 96 v6 the previous owner cut the exhaust right behind the cats an put straight pipe back to the flowmeter cutback .my question is can I cut the cats an that pipe out an put a x pipe in its place ?

    I ment cut the pipe an unbolt the cats from the headers

    Whatever you do, do it right. But the proper fitting pipes and it will all bolt right together

    I'm having a hard time finding a off road x pipe for my car . I've looked on late model restoration, mustangs unlimited, an American muscle with no luck. any other place I might find one for my 96 6er
