Long story short.. Took a road trip last week with my son and about 2 hours into the trip the rear end started to leak. It did not continue to leak on smaller drives then did it again on the way home (3 hours in)... So I am thinking I need to change the vent out on the rear end (mine is damaged anyway)... Anyone know the ford P/N as my local dealer is not so good at finding parts....

    Thanks Guys...

BTW it was a trip from CT to the White mountains in NH... The Kancamangus is a blast in the Mustang when there is no traffic...

I looped a piece of 3/8 rubber fuel line off the vent tube and used a tiny hose clamp to attach it. Seems to be working fine I have not smelled any fumes.

I'm sure you could grab a ford vent cap at the junkyard for free.
