Why did you get the 17" STEEDAs if you like the 18" better?

    Price?

EDIT: Do you get any warranty or anything with the wheels from STEEDA? Like if the chrome peels at all, etc. Not that it would, just wondering...I know some Import cars have expensive wheels that have lifetime warranties on them. If you even crack/bend/scratch the rim the will replace it free. Wondering if STEEDA had something like this...

It's just what came on the car from Steeda; as well as the decals and the suspension. But yea I'd like some 18"s and then I could throw on the Steeda louvered hood and front splitter and it'd look good. With the 17"s it would make the rims look too small to have that much bulk up front. Maybe I could sell my 17"s and buy some 18"s. :D The price difference isn't much at all really between the two. It used to be that the 18"s were near $500 a piece but Steeda reduced the price down to ~380 or so.

I'm not sure about the warranty on the rims, I need to call them up and ask them about it. I could use a new right rear rim, only one that's dinged up a bit.

How the heck could i do that? And that sounds EXPENSIVE

I thought about calling STEEDA and seeing if they could make me some 18x10.5 for the rear...

Oh i didn't know you bought that car from STEEDA, i thought you bought a GT and modified it like that. What year GT is that, and how much did it cost you?

:OT: Do you have STEEDA white faced guages? I'm still dieing to see a picture of them. I've also debated making my own, since i can make vynal decals myself for the gauges :D

Hehe, yea I don't think most people realize it's a real serialized Steeda and think I just riced out a GT, lol. It's a 2001 with the T45 tranny. I don't have the whitefaced guages but I'd really like to get some. The sticker on the car was $28,500 I believe. It was one of the base Steeda's on the lot at their HQ. I'm the second owner. When I got it, it only had the rims, decals, flowmasters, shifter, springs, g-trac bar. I'd say the first owner got kind of ripped but hey, I only paid $17,000 for it with 28k miles on the odo. I've added the rest to it.

BTW your car is FAR from 'riced out'... In fact u should edit your post because that word should not be in there. :)

Hehehe, yea I don't consider it riced out at all but some people think the wing and graphics are too much. Oh well, it's a Steeda, that's how it's supposed to look.

gefracing.com has the chrome cobra r's that you are looking for. They look sick and I would have got them, but when I was looking at rims they were back ordered.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but their ad says they have Cobra R's (I believe it's the '95 replicas) in 18" sizes, which were previously not available:
