need some direction

i have an 88gt SD i have full exhaust, 373 gears, CAI, and pulleys. i was wondering which performance upgrade/upgrades would best to do next. my price limit is about 800-1000. im really looking for some substantial increase if its possible for that kind of money. any help is appreciated.

switch to mass-air is the best to do, big increase in power...intake and heads

would you recommend buying a mass air conversion kit from somewhere? if yes where or just trying to get one from the junk yard or used?
