I'm Dave and i'm glad I found this place. I loved the forum I was own during my motorcycle phase. Anyway, I've been looking for a mustang since I got back from Iraq in OCT 09. I had to sell my vehicle before we moved from FT Drum, NY to FT Lewis, WA, so now was the right time.
I found a 97 Cobra with just under 21K miles on it. It was owned by a collector in Seattle and the guy I bought it from had just bought it in April. He then bought another car and suddenly found himself with too many toys. It's got a few mods I listed on my profile and some custom paint. I really prefer stock vehicles, but i could afford this one and it was too good to pass up.
It has a couple of small things I need to figure out, like a very slight but consistent rev even while in gear and driving, but it's pretty sweet. The thing has never even seen rain. My dad bought a new 90 GT when I was 12, so a mustang has always been my dream car.
