I bought these last Fall and finally got around to installing them...They are Hella "Angel Eye" foglights...They have crystal clear lenses instead of those faded out looking stock ones...They have the BMW-ish angel eye LED lights in them, which may be a little ricey, but when they are off you can't even tell they are on there, and the clear lenses look so much better on the car than before...

    Here's some pics:

Dunno if this should be here or in Talk, it's kinda technical  If not a mod can move it over yonder...

Oh I guess I should have paid more attention to the words, instead of the pics. Taken any pics at night yet?

I think the angel eyes will look badass at night! :nice:

They look awesome, not ricey at all IMO. I'm interested in how the brightness is at night compared to the stock ones?

Hopefully they'll make angel eyes for the new Mustang's headlights in 2005...I had one of those new BMW 7-series behind me tonite and the angel eyes definitely make it look mean!

Interesting, I would also love to see some night comparison pics if you get a chance...and this thread can stay here in "tech" as it may prove useful to others looking at different bulbs/etc.

I bought them from http://www.autobarn.com (search for Angel Eye) for $55+shipping...I just drilled 2 holes in the stock mounting bracket, and used the supplied sheet metal screws and the supplied mounting bracket to screw it onto the stock bracket after lining it up with where the stock ones sat...worked really good...

Here's a picture of them in the dark in my garage, the angel eye lights aren't that bright but they give a cool effect...but the regular fogs are super bright(55W), way brighter than my stock fogs ever were:

Are the angel eyes on all the time? Any extra wiring involved? Sorry for the questions... those look really good!

No the angel eyes aren't on all the time...The wiring harness that comes with the lights doesn't use any stock wiring at all...It has a relay built into the harness, a positive terminal for the battery and a ground terminal for the frame, and it has a couple wires that runs up into the passenger compartment with a 2 way rocker switch, in position one just the fog lights are on, in position 2 just the angel eyes are on, in the middle postion both are off...

What I'm going to do is get a regular rocker switch and put the angel eyes on that using the harness that came with the fog lights, then I'm going to cut the stock plugs off and wire the regular foglights into the stock harness so I can use the stock switch in the console and so they come on with my parking lights like before...
