hi guys i live in rock island illnois and i own a 1986 ford mustang which i owned for 3 years now i bouaght the car when i was 17 but havent had much time for it.
the car is pretty much gutted no interior at all just 2 seats and a sterring wheel.going to be making a alnium dash with autometer gauges for it and a b&m rachet shifter with a 6pt roll bar for the interior.
now the car was a orginal 4 bagger with a auto.and now it has a 77 ford
351w out of my old f250 with a c4 trans.
everything else is stock.
my plans for the car this winter is to pull the motor back out and upgrade to a ford racg double rollor timing chain,new heads,cam,lifters,and fuel system.
put new gears like 4:11 and a detroit locker in the stock rear 8.8
put new supsension on getting rid of the old.
and putting a shift kit and maual valve body in the trans.
i bouaght the car for 300 and i have 200 into the motor.
just thouaght i give you guys some info and something to look forward to i will be starting a build thread next week.and ill post some pics of the car tomorrow for you all.
