    It's a lot lighter. So much so I may install hood pins just to be safe.

    I know. I'm trying to find a way to secure it without them. So far it's been fine but that thing is really light.

    Is there something flush fitting that would help? I would hate to see the clean lines and paint of your car mucked up with hood pins and/ or the cables to the pins.

    I'm thinking of some sort of under hood attachment. That way it will keep it from flying back and smashing the windshield and still stay hidden.

    Is there any way you could reinforce the existing hood latch? There's not a lot of material to anchor to on the underside of the hood from what I can see in the photo.
