Ok I made this account last summer when I thought I was going to buy a 5.0. Well, I did, but only a few days ago, so it took me a while. Here she is, black betty:

The car has ported and polished stock heads, 3.73's, air-raid filter, aluminum driveshaft, subframe connectors, off-road H hipe with flows.

One question, how good can stock heads flow with a port and polish? Like how much cfm? Also, what is the stock combustion ratio and valve size of the h.o?

Looks pretty good, numbers on stock ported heads can vary on the port job, if it was done by thumper you will have a kickass car to start with, if it was done by some redneck in his back yard, ehh might want to upgrade the heads. Chances are it was done by a machine shop, unless you have reciepts and stuff to prove exactly what was done you really cant tell much, untill you take it to the track :)

Nice looking car, seems like a fun project. Already has the 2 best parts to start with, gears and subframe connectors.

The porting was done by the previous owner and a friend, at the time he worked for ford, so Im hoping maybe 170cfm on the intake? Is there any way to tell if the car is cammed or not? He said it had a "high rpm" cam, but there doesnt appear to be any lope on idle, so I dont really know. The engine was in a very dirty (not oily) state, so Im cleaning it right now.

The wheels are staying. True, they do not look good in these photos, but they make the car in person, I think its to bright in those pics to see them well.

Here is a better pic in the shade of them
