So how'd you get that car to stick it's purdy backside in the air like that? Looks old-school mean like the old rake jobs the old timers (Grady, JT) used to do. I like it! Adam
I have coilovers in the rear+ the rear tires are 28" tall and the fronts are 25.7" tall. Thanks guys!
man this car looks AWESOME... what are u running up front for suspension? that **** is LOW!... i have a rake affect on my car, but NOTHING like that... id love for mine to look like that...
Im running Moroso Trick front springs in the front w/ about 3/4 of a coil cut off. I can adjust the rear up or down if I want w/ the coilovers. Thanks Guys!
My slicks are almost even with my fender lips so I have to keep it that high so I dont hit my tires or I would have it alot lower. I raced it last night w/ the wheels in the pics 17 x 9's all the way around, 245-45-17's up front and the M&H drag radials out back 275-50-17 and pulled the front wheels about 3-4 inches!! Not bad for all street trim!
That "rake" reminds me of my old 79 camaro...can I say that word on this forum lol...I too had to have it high like that in back due to tall tires...but this was way back in my high school days....Paint looks nice and shiny on the cobra..Sweet ride overall..just too much rake for me
You should have plenty of room in the fenders to lower the car down onto the big slicks. I run 28s and the slicks are tucked up under the lips.
Here's a motor shot. My times are in my sig, look at my 1st. post for my sig. Troy, My rear drag wheels are ARE 15 x 8's w/ 4 3/4 b.s. w/ Hoosier 28 x 10's They sit about flush with the fender lip. The Rebels in the pics above are tucked so I could lower it with them on, but not with my slicks. Thanks everyone!
