just wanted to say I picked up my first ever saleen (thanks marcus95) its a 89 ssc and I'm very excited about owning this car. Its very fun to drive and I really like how unique it is. I've been trying to learn more about the saleens so I have been sifting thru alot of the post on this forum and judging by what I have read so far it sounds like you have a bunch of great guys on this forum. Last few years I have spent alot of time over on the corral but I didn't see a saleen forum.
looking forward to learning more about the saleens.

    Congrats on the purchase.

My S351 is so lonely now I may have to go out and buy something else. My other fox Saleen was like the red headed stepchild compared to the SSC.
You got an awesome car. I can hide a lot of car parts from the wife but not an entire car. It was only a matter of time. Luckily she knows nothing about the GTO. :D
If Dan is watching, I now have room in storage for a 66. :(

    Robert,

They would have to take me away in a straight jacket if I owned TWO white 1995 S351 R- codes. The neighbors already think I'm nuts.

You must really love playing with Fire, Marcus. Scary.

Welcome ddr1stang and congratulations! Please come by one of our upcoming events so we can check out the SSC (and meet you of course). I don't think anyone got to see it within the short time Marcus had possession.

    Dennis,

You know I'm always playing with fire.

I would have had the SSC forever if I had had a nice place to keep it like perhaps Roberts new digs. The only reason I sold the SSC is because I still have my original 89, and of course it's white too! I am getting a little smarter in my old age but not much.

If Robert had only bought his place a little earlier I would still have it. I spent 5 years looking for the perfect SSC.
Dwane, if you ever feel the need to move on, call me first. I'll have a truck at your door within hours. :D I already miss it.

Sorry Marcus, I know to never say never but I feel good about owning this car

over the last 17 years i've owned a few stangs including a boss 302 and a 67 gt500. At the time when I sold them :damnit: I thought it was a good idea (got married, building a house blah blah blah) Well shelbys are way out there now and I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to buy one again. Well all of a sudden I have kinda fell for the saleen's and so far I couldn't be happier with my decision.
