Bet the first guys in line will be the owners of the remaining 66 GT-H's. And of course, us Budget Saleen owners... (They still won't be as rare as the 118 Saleen Budget cars... )
dollar for dollar it might not be bad....rent it at the $100 price (minus multiple day & aaa discount - say $90). After the 6-9 months or so, they sell it you as they do all used renatals (16k) and there you go a unique ride. The math = ($90 x 30) x 7 + 16,000 = 34k - remember its a gt u had from day one and cosidering there is a 15k plus mark up on the gt500 its a fair compromise. Then rental fees can be wriiten off and im sure there is more to it too but i do have work to do....411...Hertz coproate hq...LOL I can also see it now proce of some familie vacations taking a little price jump...honey what do you want to rent? Thats ok, Ill take car of the car rental!
I think it's a great idea. Are they all going to be black with gold stripes? If so that is perfect. Any and every guy to rent one is going to drive the living **** out of them.
If we get one in Chattanooga our local dragstrip will get to see what they will do!! I read a lot about the 66's being turned back in after making some money with them at the local tracks!!
I am going to try and rent one of those if I can find one. and if I do get to rent one it will be at dew england dragway that night
