one time I braked so hard, a CD case that was sitting on the plastic ledge at the back where the rear mach speakers are...flew forward and promptly exploded upon hitting my radio bezel.

good thing it didn't hit me in the head

That boot looks nice, I may try something similar. But why doesn't the boot come all the way up to the bezel? I'm also wondering about that wire. Do you have a temp gage/compass in the mirror?

I always put my cell phone in that pocket under the cd player and that worked great most of the time when my car was stock. Now it always goes flying into the back seat! :D

I have a clip for my phone that I keep on the sunvisor. My car is so loud that I can hear my phone ringing, but right there I can see the screen light up when it rings. But I almost lost my phone on the interstate once when i put the sunvisor to the side to stop the sun and i forgot to take my phone off.

my head unit conveniently interferes with my cell phone when it's ringing, so I hear it through the speakers...

THAT'S GREAT! i love seeing that mirror dangling off the windshield... the first day i swapped from the aod-e to the t-5 i figured id let my dad give it a rip since he helped a bit and he usually baby's the car so i figured he'd do the same, lol.. i thought wrong and when he hit 2nd even with only the king cobra clutch it popped my mirror right off and he felt terrible, i just laughed my a$$ off... nice boot btw

if you think a chopped stock shifter is good, wait till you get a good shifter like a pro 5.0/Tri-ax/MGW. makes worlds of difference
