Im new to mustangs as my last car was a 91 MR2 turbo, as was the car before that one. So Im used to a stiff suspension, tight handling car. What can i do or what should I do to get rid of that floaty feeling in the front end of my 88GT? I am not a big fan of taking turns slowly, or watching the front end bounce 3 times after hitting a hump in the road. Would new stock shocks help? Or should i upgrade to something better? It has drag springs (blue). I am really wanting a more aggressive stance. Lowering the front end a little, and raising the back a little if possable.

Thanks

Well, drag springs and blown shocks don't help. If you are thinking about handling, look into a matched spring and shock setup.

Bouncing tends to point to shocks and struts being blown. Basically you are driving on springs only. Push your fender down and let up, the car should come up and stop. If it bounces, the strut is definitely blown.
