Well, it arrived on an 18 wheeler about 30 minutes ago. I didn't get to stick around to take pics, because I had to bug out for a doc appt. But, it was neat watching them unload 40 foot trusses with the three wheeled fork lift. I thought they were going to begin building this eve, but it's getting pushed back because of the holiday weekend. Anyhoo.. I'll post pics as soon as it starts to take shape! :)

Well, the guys finally made it down to start construction today. This is a wood framed pole barn that will have a slab poured after it's built. The posts get anchored by the concrete. 40x60x14.

awesome! 40x60 is bitchin, I wish mine was that size.

Are you doing 12 or 14' door?

Edit, looks like a 12' door and to be honest I dont know if a 14' door would work on 14' wall, I would guess you would need taller walls to accommodate the 14' door.

I have a 12' door and its F'n massive

Are you planning on working ( for money) out of that building?

Maybe side work or after retirement work. I plan on putting a bridgeport mill and a decent size lathe in along with a fab table and rigging out for welding. The main plan is cars cars cars!

edit: also a two post auto lift. It'll be a little while before it all comes together.
