yep, not very well but it was, i would have been spinning hard if I would have taken "baby" the 86 as well, we had one good time where cauleys car almost dead hooked, I thought we busted off a mid 13 but we only got a 14.5, it was still spinnin in 2nd as well, his car will go deep 13's maybe even a 12.9 with some slicks, jon's car was doing the same, he needs some tires as well.

What kind of mph is this high 12s car (which actually went 14.4) running to make you think it will go high 12s? An SN95 would need a solid 104-105 mph traps to go 12.9!

Next time out, NO excuses, bring some tires and give it hell. Then you will have sme timeslips without reasons for the numbers! :D

i was pulling 2.8 60's thats why i only went 14.4. i could either leve off idle and ease through first and second gear, or give it any kind of gas and spin. i could roll out of first gentle go to second and punch ot and just blow the tires off. and i DO see where i have high 12 second potential.

What mph??? I dont see how anyone could be hitting 2.8 60's, we even ran an 11 second car on a pair of 225/60/15 tires off a junker in our yard, and got a 2.2-2.3 with it. They must have spread water down the track there, if sub 300 rwhp cars are spinning through 3rd.

Get to a real track and try it. Personally if my local track ever prepped (or unprepped by the sound of it) like this, I wouldnt ever go back. Sounds dangerous actually, if 13 and 14 second cars are doing this, imagine an 11 second car on a radial?

Well you know what happened?? All the million imports on street tires drove thorugh the water box, bringing water dwn the track, we were on of the only ones driving arounf the box out of about 50 cars there.

your times are nearly exactly what I ran in my 90 lx (14.68 @ 96). You've got more mods and I've got less weight, so it probably equals out. My 60's sucked too...2.3 was my best, but I also drove through the water box (the guys pretty much told me if I didn't, I wouldn't hook) and I had the pressure at 18psi. Next time, I'll skip the box for once and raise the pressure and see what happens. I definitely need more practice.

Drop the Falkens to around 25 psi in the back and around 40 in the front. Should help out a little. I run my car like that all the time, and the wear looks great. I do swap front to back once in a blue moon to help keep the wear ok, but it's not often.
