nitrous hp?

why do people say that you shouldnt use anything more then a 125 shot of nitrous? i thought that our engines were able to handle 450hp no problem what gives? with a supercharger you can push 370+ to the wheels without a issue but a 125 shot is pushing it?

because you'll gain monster torque with the nitrous. you can gain 170-200ft/lbs with a 125 shot. it's not just peak hp that stresses a motor.

Its all about the huge sudden increase in cylinder pressures.
