*disclaimer* normally I don't do this. *disclaimer* My LX. 10:30 pm, no traffic, on a highway w/ stop lights spaced out, 04 or 05 Maxima SL (checked it out just now) Engine 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine 265 hp @ 5,800 rpm 255 lb-ft of torque @ 4,400 rpm S S 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode This is what the '04 ran in Motor Trend Magazine: 3.5 L, V-6, 6 speed Manual 0-60 6.30 sec. 1/4 Mile14.77 sec. -weighs around 500 lbs more than me I bet. (don't know the weight o' me car) I'm casually driving home minding my own business. Notice the Nissan stomps it when we leave a light (kid driving Mom's new car I'm sure). I'm all casual but figure I'll be his huckleberry, I take it easy through the gears, never lay rubber, didn't even hit full boost in 2nd. Put about 3 car lengths on him in third, let him pull up again when I shifted to fourth, we're dead even, I put another 3 car lengths on him. So...that's 20 lbs boost. Gonna put the stiffer spring in tonite and bump it up a couple more. Do a few other things when I get back from the SVO reunion and dyno. Hoping (wringing hands really) it'll break 300 easy & the nitrous will give me @ 400.
Irresponsible jerk kids these days. It's people like you that make it unsafe for our children to drive and give the teenagers a bad rep. for it! ...It makes me smile...
oh yea no need to flame dude for racing. We all do it from time to time. Im sure u have raced plenty of kids in ur camaro.
um, everything it seems like. Here's a pic Cro took of it last time he was here. http://forums.stangnet.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=22685 I've got a big TB to install w/ a different upper intake yet, but otherwise pretty well done. It's set up for autox/opentrack/street rather than the dragstrip - but it still gets it done.
