No power at fuse box

I have a 1989 5.0 GT. I just got it, anyway I am repairing a few things to put it back on the road after it has sat for some years. I only have a Chilton's repair manual so they have most of the wiring diagrams but of course not the ones I need lol. No heater blower turn signals or rear defrost. Wipers don't turn off but that may be another story. I tracked it down to the fuse box, number 5 and 9 have no power to the fuses. I pulled the box out and checked with a test light and there is a green/ yellow wire feeding both fuses at the box which has no power. I don't see any rodent damage anywhere so I think it is a failed connector or fusible link

The book I have does not show the fuse box wiring diagram so I can track it back to the source to find out where the circuit has failed. I have checked a few fusible links but it would be easier to look at a diagram to follow the now dead wire. does any one have a wiring diagram for this model they can pm me or can someone point out the book I need if there is such.

Up and coming repairs: Control arms, sub frame connectors shocks and struts. Try to get some rattles out of this old pony.

Meanwhile, here are some wiring diagrams to help...

You're going to get to split open the wiring harness to get to the fusible links.
The fusible links are grouped in the wiring harness near the starter solenoid according to the diagram I have from Tmoss. The yellow wire coming from the starter solenoid branches out to become 3 black wires that connect to 3 of the fuse links.

You can get new fusible links from the auto parts store, Autozone, NAPA, or Advanced Discount Auto Parts should have them. They look like pieces of wire, and you cut the old link out and solder the new one in.

Thanks for the wiring info. I checked a few of the links at the solenoid but I did not want to poke holes in all of them as on the east coast if you compromise the protective covering on the wires you will eventually have problems at those points from corrosion. I don't mind getting into the harness for a repair the good thing is it looks like no one else has torn into them under the hood. Behind the radio is a different story though lol. I have all the software to use the files you send :)

Anyone have the electrical diagrams still? I have no power at fuse 9 (blower motor) for an 89 LX, and I can't find anything on the VeryUseful site that shows the source for this fuse.

Fuse links come with a current rating just like fuses. A clue as to what current they are designed for is to look at the size wire they protect.

Choose the fuse according to the wire size.
