I noticed a bad leak in my timing cover so I tore it down to replace the gasket. While I was in there, I noticed the timing chain had a little bit of slack in it. So I slid the sprockets and chain off. I put the new sprockets and chain on exactly as the old ones were. I put it all back together, now it won't start. I started with the obvious stuff like fuel and spark. I have fuel pressure at the rail. However, I noticed I have no spark coming from the coil. (Screwdriver to chassis test). I have a spare coil so I tried that one too. Still nothing. The connections are good on the coil. Any ideas? The timing should be good since I didn't adjust anything and I put the sprockets exactly as they were before right? And what does that have to do with spark coming from the coil??
