Man screw that. It's nuclear winter time. Turn that damn island into a huge sheet of glass and don't look back.
That would be really stupid. God I hope not. I fear there's not much other choice. They refuse all rationale.
Only problem with that is, going nuklear means you hit South Korea and China with the fallout. Can't very well do that to your allies, can you?
Don't forget Russia. What I find interesting is how the "Nuke North Korea" crowd is so afraid their allowing their fear to cloud their thinking.
We have plenty of conventional/non-nuclear weapons to wipe NK off the map. I still don't get why anyone would want to use actual nuclear weapons. I think it's more the "NUKE EM OFF THE MAP" is an extreme way of saying, wipe them off the map completely...I HOPE most people are smart enough to realize we would never want to actually use a nuclear weapon unless it was the ONLY option left. Can I CAPITALIZE any OTHER words FOR anyONE?
Don't forget that the N.Korean peole are innocent victiums of that regime too. No need to nuke the country, a stratgic attack on the leadership will sufice. I
They've lost their minds. I agree, its getting nearly impossible to be rational with them anymore. I fear we're just going to have to defend ourselves, somehow, someway.
NK says they wont hesitate to retalliate if WE 'start a war'....but according to japan they plan to fire a missle on us REGARDLESS on jul 4th?
wow. now....i could be wrong but...there are many other directions to shoot of these said 'tests' such that they arent aimed at inhabited parts of the world.. and BTW. do these people not believe in math? if they REALLY just want to see how far these things can travel, how about doing an analysis on the overall flight/propulsion system...oh and did i mention a wind tunnel? again, i could be wrong.
That's what I was thinking. There's no need for nukes. One of these days, I hope China smacks them around like a big brother and puts them in their place. If not, and they actually launch a missile at Hawaii, we need to send a carrier and a couple destroyers over and bombard them with conventional weapons until they have no choice, but to surrender. Then we call Lee Myung-Bak and tell him that there is no more North Korea, it's now just Korea and he's in charge.
