o2 sensors have to be used?

There is a MIL sensor (O2 sensor simulator) that you can get but you'll be disabling the EEC's adaptive abilities if you use them. It's basically just a small resistor pack. They're hit or miss for actually working and not throwing codes.

I take it that your new set of brand X headers doesn't have the bungs for them or something? If so... I'd recommend having the bungs installed.... it's cheap. You can order the bungs from Summit and any muffler ship can put em in for you.

it matters where they go. If they are too far away they wont get hot enough and it will throw a code. If they are too close they will throw a code. get it as close to the factory location as possible.

Any portion of the midpipe is hot enough to keep em working. :p Our sensors just aren't that smart. lol Neither is our EEC, for that matter.

Besides, aren't all the Fox sensors pre-heated (two and/or 3 wire)?
