I didn't hear the song but seriously, this is a sport based in the South East USA, what sort of music do you want them to play? They could play some 80's music for those stuck in the time warp that is New England  Maybe some Whitesnake?

Super Bowl was in the same state, didnt see them playing country at the half time show.

For once they could not play into the back woods red neck stereotype

Well JR's no where to be seen up front, what a shock

Well with those statements you demonstrated just how ignorant you are along with your complete and utter lack of knowledge as to the roots of NASCAR. Please go away troll.

God I wish there was a way to put a single user, within a single thread, on IGNORE.

You talk things WAY to seriously and wouldnt know a joke if it smacked in you the face. Calm down for once.

Your just pissed off b/c I said JR Sucks then he gets caught up in a crash due to the fact that he was running in last place. If JR had a top 5 those other comments I made would not have meant anything, it would have been all the quotes on how JR sucks instead

 You Nascar guys have thin skin. Say one bad thing about the sport or "your" driver and your satin all of a sudden.

I like the sport but there are many things I dont like about it too. I hate how they always cater to the red neck base while at the same time trying to portray a new hip image of the sport. I hate how the sport plays favorites to certain drivers and trys to mico manage what goes on the track. But I like some of the drivers and I like the racing so I still watch it.

U.M You know damn well that you have made tons of anti football comments through out the YEARS, either in the threads or out you have done that for years. You came into the super bowl thread as you said to "vote" but you know you went in just to take another dig at the NFL and the people who watch football. You dont care about the sport, you dont watch it, yet you still find it necessary to take your digs at it on here when you see fit. I on the other hand do watch Nascar there are things about the sport I dont like and the fact I dont like your driver is why you get all worked up. I may say some bad things about it but at least I watch it and enjoy watching it, unlike you who takes your shots at football when you feel like it for no other reason then either pissing someone off or trying to be an ass Stop being a hypocrite

 Damn, I missed the race. I'll have to catch the 150's later in the week. Anyone but Jeff Gordon as usual. Stil no favorite driver for me since the Jarrett/Toyota fiasco, and then his retirement. Just a good race is all I'm looking for until I find a new driver. I'll be in the infield for the Talladega race in April, then the Kansas race in September.

Tons of anti-football comments? Really? Check your 2008 NFL thread... out of 2500+ posts there are NONE, that's right... NONE in there by me. In the NCAA Football thread there's a single post from me out of the 493 posts and it's NOT negative or anti-football in any way. So please feel free to take your accusal and cram it where the sun don't shine.

As of now I'm done speaking with you in relationship to this specific thread. If you hate so many things about NASCAR, GO MAKE YOU OWN GD THREAD ABOUT IT AND QUIT PISSING IN OURS! :fuss:

If you got issues with what I said in a NFL thread from 2+ years ago, then go file a grievance with management.

For now though you can take your bigoted redneck, southern U.S., NASCAR hating crap somewhere else.

You have at least three mods who are NASCAR fans within this thread so tread lightly my friend or otherwise I will squash you like a bug.... and that's a promise.... of course unless one of the other mods beats me to it.

Well technically if I placed any Stangnet user on ignore I'd be shucking my responsibility as a mod. No matter how much I hate to read someone elses posts, I still have to just to ensure they don't violate TOS.

I haven't made any concrete plans as of yet, but I have been trying to win tickets to the March 8 race in Atlanta from our local radio station... I'd like to get some seats like I had won last time... :hail2:

where at? the main grandstands? We sit in winners now. It's the new section at the exit to pit row. Good seats IMO. I don't like the main grandstand anymore.... too crowded. Winners is only $95 :nice:

don't worry about the mod thing, I'm a "mod" too. Gearbanger will take care of the noise :D
