I have Discussed on numerous threads automobiles that IMO are far superior to the Mustang. Since my opinion appears worthless in the Neanderthal world of Live Axles and Ford Blue Oval Badges I would like to see if anyone thinks there are any cars better than the Mustang. Now lets cut thru the BS since the first words I will hear are VETTE, VIPER, GT 500, and GT. OK those are the ground rules. Other than these cars Does anyone else make a superior automobile or is the Mustang one of the finest cars ever built? ( I can't wait to hear the answers on this one) Remember MONEY is no object in this thread.

Is price and category factored in? How about that Subaru WRX? Looks like hell (Subaru really should do something about their looks)

I owned 2 WRX's a wagon with 325 RWHP 0-6 in 4.2 seconds and a stock sedan. Great FUN cars, the Mustangs more fun.

If money is not a consideration. Then there are plenty of cars better than a mustang. Though if money was not an issue. I'd be driving a much rarer mustang. And have it as an investement.

Yes "WE" are sticklers. Much like you stick to the belief that a BMW is better than a mustang (Though you bought a mustang not a BMW  ) I believe that facts about things should be clear. And while I think that BMW's have some things better than a mustang. Up here everybody seems to own one. So after a while. They all seem to look like little lemmings.

back to the question I am still too smitten with this car than to think about others.

Up here we don't have too many ferraris or lambo's driving around (Much too wet outside most all year long). But there are cities up here. That I swear to you. It must be a law. If you live in that city. You must own a BMW. And trust me. I would rather live down there in Fl.

The NY Metro area has more German cars than anywhere else I have ever seen. I does ruin it though since my M3 was no big deal when driving the roads of NJ. Can you believe that? A 60K car that just disappears into the crowd of 911's, Aston Martins, and all th other fantasti cars these rich people own. People didn't look twice at an M3 since either they have no clue what on was or they were so jaded that an M3 is no big deal!! The worst part is these idiots give more compliments to my Mustang than to a work of art like the M3. We gotta remember though that these idiots bought ten million PET ROCKS and elected GW BUSH!!

For less than 30K I dont think you will find a better "performance vehicle"
even if we're talkin "hillbilly performance"

Greater car than the Mustang < 2005 Ford GT

Excon the truth is I probably like my stang for all the reasons you hate yours! No one here ever brought up BMW vs. Mustang untill you came to the forum.

Yes I named another Ford vehicle cause it bugs the S___ out of you :flag:

The reason you get more compliments on your mustang than an M3 is simple. The M3 while technically superior to the mustang. Does not elicit as much emotional response as the mustang. And the heritage is nearly second to none. Name me a BMW model that has been around for over 40 years. Nearly everyone has been in a mustang at some point in there lives. And you can't match the following that the mustang has. Here in America there are more mustang related things than for any other car.
