once in a while getting a check engine light

I think its the 157 which is mass air related I believe, it seems to only happen when I pin it for a bit and will be on when I lay off then soon after goes away.. but it doesn't always happen

Have you ran the codes? By your post it sounds like you haven't just wanna make sure. You will also get one once in a while for the egr valve

well the last 4 times i checked it was 157 and it happened for the same reasons, so I figure this will be the same code

oh ok. Have you cleaned your maf? Checked the wires going to it? Not too often they go bad possible though I guess

yeah I have tried cleaning it, all seems well til but it comes back

Are you clearing the KAM after you retrieve codes each time? Just making sure.

If you have a meter, you can do some voltage testing at the MAF.

did it come on before cleaning it? JT probably knows more about this stuff then I do. I'm just pulling stuff out my butt that could be possible issues
